As this Ouranidos deals with astrology, perhaps it is well enough to look at the super-midpoint for such conceptual formulations.

ME/UR||SA/UR 11.46 ar

= ME/A 11.41 cn = SA/NE 11.25 cn
= SO/MO 26.04 TA = NE/ASC 26.33 SC
= UR 27.59 AQ.

It is also H16 = JU/UR 3.30 ta.

However in H32 it = 0 ar which has MA/SA on its axis.

A very interesting combination of midpoints is the following:

SO 27.37 ar = A/M 27.32 cn = SA/ASC 28.01 cn

which in H16 = VE 20.21 ta
and in H32 = MO 24.31 ge = ME 9.04 ta.

This all also seems to me a very apt description of the article on asteroid names sent by Axel.

What strikes me is the absence of NE, and one hopes that SA/NE will influence for the better NE/ASC, always a rather woolly point.

feliciter!

We're a day away from our birth! I'm beginning to feel like a midwife:-). Actually, all of you who have voted or intend to should feel this way. As of of midnight on April 28, 2002, the required score for a Front Page article will be 10. This will put Axel's "Doctrine of Names" on the Front Page. It might also put Bill's "Greenfields of Vietnam" and Kim's "Astrological Princess" there as well. So it looks like twins or triplets.

I should point out to everyone that the required score is not something fixed, but can change and will change as we get more participants. For now, I'd say that a section only article should require a score of 5, and a Front Page article 8-10. At any rate, as of tomorrow, I'll be setting the scores at 5 for section and 10 for FP. Any comments would be more than welcome.

Thanks to all who have participated. You've helped bring this site to life, and as of tomorrow we'll have an official birthtime for urania.info. There is a member called urania, and in the manner described in this diary entry, I will post her chart in astrolog text format in her "public key" box.

It's been a fun week. Special thanks to Bill and Kim for writing articles which capture the spirit of what we're trying to do. Great work!
