A World Cup of Mundane Aspects ( 3.00 / 1 ) (#4)

Rob lists the nature and timing of four key events in the world cup final:
8:46 Germany hits cross bar
8:50 Germany hits post
9:24 Brazil score
9:36 Brazil again score

Ignoring any potential controversy between sidereal and tropical placements, I find these times coincided with clear-cut major astrological events each of which involved bodies/points one usually identifies in any horoscope:

At 8:46:00 there was an exact mundane parallel in altitude between the Moon's north node and the Fortuna (calculated for a nocturnal event), with both points having altitudes of -28:25.

At 8:51:18 Neptune crossed the Ascendant, with 0:00 altitude

At 9:23:10 Venus opposed the Ascendant, with 0:00 altitude

At 9:36:10 there was an exact mundane parallel in altitude between Venus and Uranus, both having altitudes of -2:26

Neptune crossing an angle seems appropriate for a failed attempt. This astrological event is the most distant in time (00:01:18) of the four from the associated soccer event.  It is however very close in orb.

Tradition suggests the two Venus mundane events should coincide with a positive outcome, as they both did.

The Node-Fortuna parallel in altitude is not something one usually notes, but here it did occur precisely at 8:46:00, the same moment that Rob tells us Germany hit the cross bar.  Both Node and Fortuna point to the Moon, which is weakened by its applying squares to Pluto, the Node, Mercury and Saturn, so perhaps one would consider that here the Node-Fortuna mundane parallel would be a negative indicator.
