It may be of historical interest to note that on the 11th day of September 1789 President George Washington appointed Henry Knox as the first Secretary of War of the USA.

It also seems that the thug-terrorist group Al Qaida, which was responsible for the attacks and murders of 9/11 2001 on New York City and Washington DC, was celebrating an anniversay of their own, one of their foundation moments 10 Sept 1988.

But until further information is extracted from the thugs, we will never know exactly what they might have had in mind, or if they were celebrating' anything with their criminal actions.

The website referred to by Urpaulo says that "The President spoke at 9:09 p.m. in the House Chamber at the Capitol" on 11 September 1990 - not at 9:19 p.m.

For the Capitol I have 38n53.4 77w 0.6 - presumably close to the central dome. It is a large building and the House chamber may be different from these coordinates by one or two tenths of a minute, but I don't have the information handy. The angles are: MC 19cp25.7, AS 3ta49.6, VX 14lb53.4.

Charybdis (the mean Dark Moon reduced to the zodiacal plane) will cross 3ta49.6 around 20 hours UT on Sunday, 16 March 2003. At the Capitol in Washington Venus will be on the Descendant, Mars on the Vertex, and the Moon will be in Virgo applying to a trine of Charybdis within 8' applying. I suspect it just means more of the same: the "enemy" attempting another Venusian measure of mollification (or for those who use Venus as ruler of Taurus it might mean one protagonist in the other's house - but that's ambiguous); the proactive side continuing to act on its intention (Vertex) of waging war.

On 11 September 2002, it was reported that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was killed in a raid in Karachi. Certainly, the photograph of the man currently in custody bears no resemblance to previous photographs we have seen.

Pluto is now at 19 Sagittarius square the 9-11 Sun and activating the solar eclipse of 10 June, the moon of the GWB inauguration, GWB's Uranus, Iraq's Moon and sesquaring Israel's MC. Unfortunately, it also activates John Ashcroft's (9 May 1942 in Chicago) MA/SA so while there is a lot to learn, there will be a lot that is surpressed.
