I don't know about the flu, but I have noticed strong Venus activity during times of violence.

The following examples use cosmobiological dials with orbs of one degree or less. Hits ('=') indicate conjunction, opposition, square, octile (semisquare), semi-octile (22.5) and sesquare. I am concentrating (in the interest of brevity) on hits to personal points (SU, MO, NO, MC, ASC). I have not included 0 Cardinals or common violent configurations. These and other charts (which I'm not listing) often show Venus as chart ruler, angular or in grand trines. I'm only using war and attack charts since charts of personal violence can involve love, passion and/or other complications which would merely muddy the waters.

1993 WTC Attack: VE = NO = MA/MC = SU/PL

2001 WTC Attack: VE = NO = MA/UR

2004 Madrid Attack: VE = SU = ASC

2001 Afghanistan Attack: VE = MC = NE

1988 Iraq Mustard Gas Attack: VE = SU

Pearl Harbor: VE = ASC/MC = SA = JU

2003 Iraq Ground War: VE = ASC

1991 Desert Storm Ground War: VE = MO.

It's interesting (to me) that the above two show the Venus aspects with the ground wars as opposed to the more detached bombs-away aspects of the wars.

I will be very interested in the events which take center stage in the near future with Venus playing a starring role.

I had wondered about Transpluto/Persephone (Theodore Landscheidt)and epidemics, both from casual observation and the symbology and myths. Transpluto seems to be the outer planet correspondent of Venus, as Pluto is of Mars, for instance, and Transpluto does seem to rule Libra and the seventh house, the Other.

I noticed that people with Moon in Libra (George Bush, Wim Duisenberg) have a similar hypnotic and charismatic quality to those with Moon conjunct Transpluto (Kofi Annan). Transpluto and Libra seem connected.

Need to think more on this one. Interesting
