A cosmobiological analysis shows that the jury verdict will be unfavorable to Mr. Black(i.e. he will be found guilty of some,if not all, of the charges levelled against him).

The primary correspondence for the crisis facing Mr. Black is the natal combination

MC = SATURN = SU/MO = JU/PL

This was activated by solar arc directed PLUTO in 2004. Secondary progressed SATURN completed a square to natal SU/MO two years after his birth and moved forward and so the natal combination remained dormant until SATURN came to a halt and changed direction in June 2003. Secondary progressed MOON opposed natal SATURN in June 2003 and at the same time transiting URANUS stationed opposing natal SUN -0- MA/PL ( " sudden disasters or calamities of great consequence"). Hollinger International started an investigation on June 17, 2003. Transiting SATURN came to its natal place(Mr. Black's second SATURN return) in August 2003 and it will make two more visits,one in January of 2004 and the last pass in April of 2004 strongly triggering the Plutonian direction activating the natal combination MC=SATURN=SU/MO=JU/PL.

The jury is expected to receive the case on or about June 27. Unfortunately for Mr. Black, transiting SATURN once again will move through the MC=SATURN=SU/MO=JU/PL complex between June 27 and July 7(and t. SA/NE will take the entire month of July to move through the same complex). Specifically, transiting SATURN will be exactly conjunct natal JU/PL on July 5, about the time the verdict is expected. The solar arc directed JUPITER has just started an applying square to natal PLUTO(to be exact in June 2008) and since JUPITER=SU/UR natally, solar arc directed SU/UR will also contact natal PLUTO and this has already become exact in the first week of June, 2007.

PLUTO = SU/UR : "..(Imprisonment)"

A series of negative transits occurs for Mr. Black during the course of Jury deliberation and likely announcement of verdict as given below:

Transiting SUN will trigger the SATURN transit on June 28 and 29.

Full Moon @ 08Cap25 on June 30 falls on natal SATURN.

Negative transits t. SUN -0- n. UR/PL, t. MA/PL -180- n. SUN and t. MA/SA -135- n. MOON are active on July 2 and 3.

Transiting MOON will oppose natal PLUTO in the evening hours of July 2 simultaneously squaring the tight MARS-SATURN opposition of Mr. Black's wife[Barbara Amiel(1940 December 04)]. Transiting MOON will oppose natal SA/NE around noon on July 3 and trigger the SATURN transit four hours later. Appropriate correspondences can be found for many other times during the week,but 16:05 CDT at Chicago on July 3 may be the worst possible time for Mr. Black to hear the verdict.

Transiting MARS will activate the natal MERCURY=PLUTO=UR/NE on July 5 and 6. Transiting SU/MO will trigger the SATURN transit around noon on July 6.

Transiting SUN will be parallel to natal SATURN || URANUS on July 9 and 10.

Mr. Black's lawyer Edward Greenspan(1944 February 28) has his natal SU/NO located between 22Tau25 and 22Tau54 conjunct Mr. Black's MC and contacting SATURN=SU/MO=JU/PL via hard aspects. SATURN transiting this common contact does not bode well for winning the case. He will experience t. SUN -0- n. MA/PL and t. MARS -90- n. PLUTO on July 3 in contrast to the nice solar transit activating the tight MARS-JUPITER opposition of the lead prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald(1960 December 22) on the same day.

First off, congrats to Mihira for calling it correctly. You may cause me to dust off my copy of COSI.

I agree that Black's situation for the next while is bad, although one might merely resort to the co-presence of malefics Saturn and Ketu (South Lunar Node)in his first house for an explanation. Sentencing is due in November as Saturn conjoins his Jupiter and Ketu conjoins his Sun. Not a pleasant time.

Perhaps you might make a prediction about his bail application due in the next week or so. While there are numerous longer term factors that are against him, at least the approaching Venus station conjoining his Sun suggests a silver lining of sorts. However, if the hearing takes place near the 20th, (Friday this week) then he's likely to be denied bail as Mercury conjoins his Saturn and Sun conjoins his 12th house Rahu (North lunar node). HIs fortunes would improve the closer he can get to the actual station on the 27th.

Also, do we know where the 6.00 am time comes from? How reliable is it?
