announcement came on March 12 at 11:30 EDT that the resignation will be effective

won three other major awards in recent weeks. She was not well known
outside of France until last year when "La Vie En Rose" was released and
her sudden international fame is an excellent example of 'Plutonian'

On Friday morning's The Current (CBC Radio 1) there was a horrible item about the British problem with alcohol. Now it's not only pub-crawling adult yobs: it's 12- and 13-year-olds causing havoc in the streets, drunk from the pop-designer booze marketed at them and sold in supermarkets.
