The Aquarius Activation

Cycles
By AdiM, Section Mundane

Posted on Tue Feb 14th, 2006 at 02:31:38 EDT
The 5 outer planets, from Jupiter to Pluto, are entering Aquarius in a very rare and perhaps unprecedented series of ingresses, in their natural order, during only 40 years between 1985 and 2024. Couldn't this be considered the Aquarius Activation, or the start of the Aquarius Era?

Did the Tsunami Disaster Occur (at least partially) Because of Human Activity?

News
By Urpaulo, Section Mundane

Posted on Mon Oct 17th, 2005 at 14:16:47 EDT
The people who report the news are not astrologers, and so inevitably miss some of possible aspects of events that astrology can make visible and perhaps intelligible in important ways.
Is it possible that astrology can identify links amongst events that are imperceptible to scientists and to mainstream journalists?
Using the December 26, 2004 Tsunami as an case study, one can argue that astrology can furnish a unique epistemic means to the understanding of mundane events.

In which we discuss three points. (1) The "12:01 a.m." habit. (2) When does one become President of the United States? (3) When does one become prime minister of Canada or of a Canadian province?

Politics in the Year of the Wood Monkey

Forecasting
By Bryan Trussler, Section Mundane

Posted on Mon May 31st, 2004 at 18:30:15 EDT
Originally written last year (2003) for publication in the ISAR journal, here is the full text of my essay on politics and global events in the Year of the Wood Monkey (2004), especially the upcoming US presidential elections.

Apologies to my fellow Canadians, but if you think about the Sponsorhip Scandal while reading this, the parallels will be obvious.

The Other Two 9-11s

Analysis
By Urpaulo, Section Mundane

Posted on Wed Mar 19th, 2003 at 13:11:27 EDT
Some students I talked to around the time of the fire-bombing of the World Trade Centre had no doubt that there was a connection between that event and some other September 11.

Recently I researched the matter and found two interesting instances, the violent overthrow of Salvadore Allende in 1973, and the historic 'New World Order' George H. W. Bush made before Congress in 1990, about three months before the beginning of 1991 Gulf War.

Is there a connection? Possibly, but in my article, I am more interested in the intrinsic features of the charts for these other events.

[A French version of this will appear in the Spring issue of Denise Chrzanowska's Cosmoscope.]

A CUP of STARS:
Astrological Evaluations
Of The World Football Competion 2002

By Rab Wilkie

PRELUDI

Sports, even the World Soccer championship, is
not everyone's cup of tea, and even to the diehard
fan it may not cosmically loom as a great battle
of federated Good versus empirical Evil, though to
an astrologer who veers, sometimes precariously,
between extremes of disinterest and sidereally
induced visions of apocalyptic grandeur, the
challenge is to to stroll a sober middle path, if
this garden of fascinating events is to be broached
at all.
