Great news for those of you who want to post articles and comments, but are reluctant to use HTML. We now have a formatting mode called "Auto Format", which will enable you to include bold, italic, links, and lists in your articles and comments without having to know html.

You can now post in one of three modes, Auto Format, HTML Formatted, and Plain Text . Auto Format is highly recommended.
In this mode, _word_ will produce word, *word* will produce word, and http://urania.info will produce http://urania.info. If you like, you can name a link by enclosing the URL within square brackets and preceding it with a name, so that [collaborative astrology http://urania.info] will turn out as collaborative astrology. You can also create lists by writing:
* list item 1
* list item 2
* list item 3
Which will produce:
- list item 1
- list item 2
- list item 3
You can also use a number instead of * to get a numbered list.
If you want to change your post mode preference, just click the "Comment Preferences" link and find the "Post Mode" option and choose "Auto Format" from the drop-down box. Auto Format will then be the default mode used when posting an article, diary entry, or comment.
This is a new feature and anyone not comfortable with html should post articles in this way. Plain text mode will generally not be acceptable for articles as long as Auto Format mode is available.
