At that time I already knew that, in occult terms, the Aquarian Age meant a time in history when all the qualities of Aquarius, The Water Bearer, will manifest more deeply, will fill the world with the water of knowledge, poured into manifestation by the Cosmic Water Bearer, the universal source of knowledge, unveiled to everyone. Somehow, probably, was also flattering me the fact that I was born under Aquarius. But each man in 12 is like that...

Then I began to find out more and more about the sign and the Era of Aquarius. And it became frustrating and confusing the fact that, while a lot of people didn't even hear about it, not even those who believed in the Aquarian Era could not agree upon an exact date of its beginning. Some were saying that it has already started, in a specific year. Others said that it will be entered only in about 2-3 centuries. The most prudents were thinking that a certain date could not be established, and that this entrance would be, in fact, a transition stretched over decades or hundreds of years. And there are also those who say that, for each man, the entering into the Aquarius Era occurs when he is ready, so it cannot be spoken of a specific historical moment for entering the Aquarius Era, but of a personal transition to a new conciousness.

So, for a while, I have left behind all these theoretical disputes, and I was accepting only that the Aquarius Era is the future of the mankind, be it already manifest, or closer, or maybe still far away, or even idealized, and that it is still not certain when Aquarius will efectively activate or when this Era will be entered. But recently I have noticed an intriguing expression of the planetary movements around the zodiac, and whoever knows some astronomy could also remark it. I am talking about the heavy planets, from Jupiter to Pluto, and this is all about a remarkable serie of ingresses.

Jupiter enters Aquarius

Jupiter entered Aquarius on February 6th, 1985, at 15h35 GMT. The Sun Mars were at that moment in a close conjunction to their positions in the birthchart of Romania for 5 February 1859, at 14h38 LMT, Bucharest (interesting fact that 1859 and 1985 have exactly the same figures). Venus and Mars were conjunct to Romania's natal Mars, and the Moon - ruler of Romania's Ascendant, was conjunct to Romania's South Node. Saturn was sextile Jupiter, and Uranus was in sextile with the Sun (Saturn and Uranus - rulers of Aquarius).

Saturn enters Aquarius

Exactly after 6 years, on February 6th, 1991, at 18h51 GMT, Saturn entered in Aquarius, while Jupiter was conjunct to Romania's 1859 Saturn, still during the Solar Return of Romania, and while the Moon was conjunct in less than one degree to Pluto. Uranus was sextile Venus, and Saturn was conjunct to Mercury and the North Node, and also trine to Mars.

The next to enter Aquarius is Uranus, on January 12th, 1996, at 7h15 GMT. We can see that, at the same time, the conjunction Sun-Neptune was transiting the North Node of Romania, in Capricorn. Saturn was transiting over Romania's Neptune and Midheaven. Uranus was sextile Pluto, and Saturn was in sextile to the Sun.

This short serie of events, in a natural order of the planets by their distance to the Sun, and all around Romania's Solar Return, can be seen as a part of a larger process of Aquarius Activation. The logic of this serie seems to be broken by the fact that on January 21st, 1997, at 15h13 GMT, Jupiters arrives again in Aquarius. But this does not matter now, because Jupiter has already played his part in 1985 and we are interested only in the planets who come next, by their distance to the Sun.

Neptune enters Aquarius

If we look to the next planet in the Solar System, Neptune, this one entered Aquarius on January 29th, 1998, at 2h52 GMT, confirming the series beyond the appearent logic. The partile conjunction Sun-Uranus, sextile to Saturn, was transiting in perfect opposition to Romania's Saturn, while the Mars-Jupiter conjunction was exactly over Romania's North Node. Just one day before, the Moon had transited Romania's natal Sun.

Pluto enters Aquarius in 2023

It would be much too beautiful if Pluto, too, would enter Aquarius still under Aquarius or, at least, under Capricorn (both Saturn signs), but Pluto will reach Aquarius on Mars 23, 2023, at 2h25 GMT, i.e. exactly at the Spring Equinox. Or will it be the Great Beginning? And a confirmation offers Pluto himself, when wee see that, after he enters Aquarius in 2023, he retrogrades in Capricorn and re-enters Aquarius on January 21st, 2024, at 0h58 GMT! The partile conjunction Sun-Pluto is in sextile to Neptune, while Saturn is sextile Jupiter, and Uranus is - still erratic - lacking major aspects.

It would be interesting to find out the mathematical probability of such a serie of 5 successive ingresses into the same sign, in the natural order of the planets and during such a short time as 40 years. I have detected a previous similar cycle between 1490-1610, with the serie of ingresses of the same planets in Taurus, so it took them 120 years at that time - 3 times more! It was the time when America was discovered and its exploration and colonization was starting, while in Europe it was the Renaissance Age. And another serie of the same type was withe the ingresses in Aries, between 991 and 1091, for that century when Wilhelm the Conqueror became king of England.

But the 40 years of the actual ingresses to Aquarius superpose well enough over the 45 years dual cycle of Saturn and Uranus, the rulers of Aquarius. Their conjunction on February 12th, 1988, was placed in the last degree of Sagittarius, just before Saturn was to enter into his own signs, Capricorn and Aquarius. And on June 28, 2032, when Saturn and Uranus will meet again in Gemini, the conjunction Saturn-Venus-Mars will be placed in Cancer, over Romania's natal Ascendant.

So, the facts are obvious: the 4 planets, from Jupiter to Neptune, enter Aquarius in their natural order, and in a moment when the Sun is in a sign of Saturn (3 of them under Aquarius, and Uranus - more original and erratic - under Capricorn) and around the Solar Return for Romania's birth in 1859. Then, the reentering of Pluto in Aquarius occurs with the Sun in the first degree of Aquarius. It is also remarkable that, in all cases (except for the final ingress of Pluto), the rulers of Aquarius have good aspects to the Sun, between them or to other planets. Pluto seems to be not very interested in Romania, and also in respecting the logic of the series before him. Yet, by stepping into Aquarius in the same degree with the Sun, after his previous ingress at the Spring Equinox, he seems to strongly confirm that an important new period of time is beginning. Completing so brightly the previous series, this Sun-Pluto conjunction in 2024 comes to me as a confirmation that it is now - during all this serie of ingresses - that Aquarius is activated, and that Romania has its special role in this.
